Liverpool school teacher denies "sexual activity with child"

A schoolteacher entered a "not guilty" plea to deny sexual activity with a teenage pupil at a top Liverpool City Region private school.

Hannah McIntyre, 24, a classics teacher at Merchant Taylors' Boys' School in Crosby, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court in a prelimnary hearing and denied one count of "sexual activity with a child".

McIntyre, who was suspended from her job when the allegations were made earlier this year, had her conditional bail renewed until 2nd February 2010.
