Staff at the Empire Theatre are seeking the owner of a small box containing what appears to be the funeral ashes of a human being.
The ashes were left behind in the auditorium after a performance by spirit medium Derek Acorah last Tuesday, 17 June.
They are awaiting collection by their mystery owner, who may not realise that they are still at the theatre.
The box containing the ashes is printed with the name of a well-known Liverpool funeral director.
