University Hospital Aintree’s Superlambananas have set off on their summer holidays.

The hospital, which has 10 Superlambananas, has waved goodbye to them as they head off for a summer adventure at different locations around the area.

Next week the mystery of how exactly they will be spending their summer will be revealed – when they are unveiled at their new locations.

Three of the Superlambananas will be located at the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Others will be located at the Marina Dalglish Centre, Woodlands Hospice and at Merseycare, all on the Aintree site.

Pictured are three of the Superlambananas travelling across the road to the neighbouring Walton Centre Abbey-Road style.

These three will be taking up residence in one of the hospital’s courtyards as well as reception.
