Funeral arrangements have been announced for the well-known Liverpool artist Frank Hendry.
A devout Roman Catholic, Frank was a World War II hero, a much respected and inspirational schoolteacher, and talented journalist.
Frank died suddenly at his home in Liverpool last week at the age of 85.
Frank's Requiem Mass will be at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King at 12.15pm this Friday, 24th July 2009, followed by interment at Crosby.
