The brand new Hilton Hotel in Liverpool City Centre is nearing completion and there was a stir its large signs and logo were delivered.
The Hilton Hotel is situated on Chavasse Park near Liverpool One, The Albert Dock and The Liver Buildings.
This is Liverpool's first Hilton and it is expected to boost the popularity of the city centre as a business, conference and tourist destination.
The luxurious Hilton is now nearing completion and should be open around Autumn 2009 with erection of the huge signs part of the finishing touches to the exterior of the building.
Fitting-out work on the high-specification bedrooms and public areas is continuing.
The hotel has been designed as a landmark for the city and occupies a prime postition for visitors to access amenities easily in Liverpool One, Albert Dock and the rest of the centre.
