
Detectives are hunting a Liverpool man wanted over a horror attack in which the victim had his right ear hacked off.
Anthony Connolly is wanted for questioning over the attack in Sussex, in which a 21-year-old man became the victim of an unprovoked attack by three men.
At about 2am on 5th August the victim was walking in Vancouver Road, Worthing, when he was viciously assaulted.
The horror attack ended when the three thugs held down their victim and severed his right ear with a knife.
Connonly is described ast 5 ft 7 inches tall, of medium build with blue eyes and receding dark brown straight hair.
Until recently he lived in the Halewood area but also has links to Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Detective Constable Del Thurgood of Worthing CID said: “We are keen to speak with Anthony Connolly in connection with this incident and have issued a number of appeals over the past 10 months to establish his whereabouts.
"We are offering a £500 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful conviction of whoever is responsible for the assault."
