
Police investigating a campaign of racial abuse levelled at shopkeepers in Huyton have taken the unusual step of issuing pictures of suspects.
Detectives say they want to speak to a number of youths in connection with racial abuse and harassment in the Huyton area.
A gallery of images captured from CCTV footage has been released.
A Merseyside Police spokesmand said: "On a number of occasions over the last few months some shopkeepers on Longview Drive have been subjected to racially driven verbal abuse and harrassment by gangs of teenage boys.
The boys are believed to be aged between 12 and 18 and were wearing sports gear/tracksuits.
Anyone who recognises the teenagers caught on camera is asked to contact Knowsley SIGMA Unit 0151 777 6545 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
