One of Britain's oldest women likes nothing more than to settle down in her favourite armchair and watch a blood-thirsty horror film.
Movie-fan Emma Kirkby, from Tywyn, North Wales, is celebrating her 105th birthday and says her favourite pastime is watching murderous tales on screen.
The retired cotton mill worker, marked reaching the age of 105 by watching her favourite horror flick "Blade" starring Wesley Snipes while sipping a glass of champagne.
Her favourite scene in the gore-fest involves Vampires being sprayed with gallons of blood.
Emma's daughter Margaret said: "She loves watching blood-thirsty horrors. The more gruesome the better."
