Well he was guilty afterall! Now is the time for naming and shaming,it shouldn't have been done before hand. He deserves all he gets now!

The press are not obliged to name a person who has been arrested they just have the right to as long as there are no reporting restrictions.

The legal system needs to be changed. A name shouldn't be given out until after the person is found guilty. Lives are destroyed cos of it!

How quickly people condemn. You dont know him...I know he never did it!Everyone who knows him supports him 100% and knows he didnt do it.

How quick everyone is to judge, I know him and I know he'd attack the attacker before he harmed a woman. I have no confidence in the police.

With a crime like this the accused should remain anonymous until convicted. If guilty the truth will out, if not his life will not be ruined

my brother is innocent no matter what people may thinik. the papers are out of order naming him. the real attacker is still out there.

Surely they must have DNA evidence in order to charge him,or is this not the case?

The press have to name a person when they are arrested, its a legal obligation, they have no choice.

my nephews life was ruined by being named in the press at court the girl admitted lying and making it up, too late damage was already done!

Don't find people guilty just because they've been arrested. If he's guilty he deserves his name plastered everywhere but NOT BEFORE
Anne, Liverpool around 3 years, 1 month ago
I disagree that people should be named before being found guilty in court Why not report it as a "wavertree man arrested" until hes tried?
