A charity 'Bed-in' to celebrate the 40th anniversary of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's peace protest was crashed by a streaker at the Liverpool Albert Dock.
The Fab4peace event was broadcast live across the internet when infamous nudist Mark Roberts ran up to the restaurant window wearing nothing but a wig and pair of round 'Lennon' sunglasses.
Raising money for the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal, the look-a-likes spent eight hours sprawled out like the legendary hippy couple and welcome the public to jump in bed with them and record a message for peace.
But during a busy lunch hour at the swanky 'What's Cooking' eatery the streaker gave diners a hard day's fright as he pressed his bum against the window.
Event organiser and Yoko for the day, Amber Tan applauded the cheeky chap and thanked him for attracting more visitors to the event.
Amber said: "We wanted to show our support for the Lennon and Yoko anniversary and what better way than to bed-in like they did 40 years ago.
"The day was running smooth with plenty of people coming to show there support for the charity when all of a sudden we had this backside above our heads.
"John and Yoko were masters of media manipulation so we tried to take the next step and broadcast the event over the internet through twitter, youtube and the fab4peace website.
"The streaker was very funny and luckily he waited until a bus load of school kids had just left.
"He received a massive round of applause from passers by and we had a huge response from viewers on the web.
"Thanks to him even more visitors came flocking over to see us and we raised even more cash."
