Man dead, one injured in Liverpool double shooting - 14/06/12
A teenager if in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in the back.
Police were called to reports of shots being fired near Eversley Road and Kingsley Road in Toxteth.
At around 1am on Saturday morning an 18 year-old man walked into hospital with a single gun shot wound to his back.
He was rushed to surgery and operated on but remains in a serious condition.
Detectives investigating the shooting believe it was a targeted attack but have not yet given details of a motive for the shooting.
House to house inquiries are ongoing and high visibility patrols have been stepped up in the area.
