Police in Liverpool released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to regarding some violence at James Street rail station on Saturday.
A group of men travelling from Chester rail station to Liverpool James Street became involved in a violent confrontation with another group.
The incident happened at around 9.15pm after the men had attended an event at Chester Races.
PC Bryan Matthews said: “Though no-one was seriously injured this was a sudden and violent incident which alarmed rail passengers and staff.
“I am determined to trace and speak to the two men pictured in the CCTV as I believe they have key information in relation to the incident.”
