Missing teenager Shannon Haslam has been found safe and well after being missing for four days.
Shannon, 17, had not been seen by her family since 10pm on Sunday when she went to bed at her family home.
Her family feared she may have been lured away by a Facebook "friend" after they discovered conversations on a secret mobile phone belonging to the teenager.
But Shannon was discovered in the Kensington area this morning after her family reported her missing on Tuesday.
On Monday morning, the shy teen got out of a taxi near a McDonald's on Great Charlotte Street in Liverpool City Centre and offered her mobile phone as payment because she had no money.
Shannon left the phone as security for the taxi fare and the driver later handed it over to detectives.
By Monday afternoon Shannon was still in the city centre and CCTV footage captured her walking alone into Liverpool Central station.
With no money or phone, concern grew for Shannon who was described as "shy and quiet".
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "Merseyside Police can confirm that 17-year-old Shannon Haslam who was reported missing from her home in Fazakerley on Sunday, 5 February has today (Friday, 10 February) been found safe and well.
"She was found this morning in the Kensington area.
"Merseyside Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this matter."
