
A 16-year old boy has been charged in over a bomb scare which saw a Liverpool high school evacuated.
A phone call warning that an explosive device was in the grounds of Broadgreen International School in Queens Drive, was made on Friday 27th January.
The school put a full evacuation plan into operation and police, using sniffer dogs took 90 minutes to declare an 'all clear' allowing pupils to return to their studies.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "A 16-year-old have been charged with providing false information alleging the presence of a bomb."
The teenager has been released on police bail and is due to appear in Liverpool Youth Court on Tuesday 21st February.
