A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed in Bebington today.
Police were called to Teehey Lane just after 3pm, following reports of a stabbing.
The man, thought to be local, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A 42-year-old man from Birkenhead has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The victim has not yet been identified, and a post mortem will take place to establish how he died.
