Christmas tree recycling points open in Liverpool

Liverpool City Council is to operate a series of points for re-cycling Christmas trees after the festivities.

Residents can take their real Christmas trees to be recycled to one of the following collection points which will operate between 4th January and 28th January.

They are at:-

* Alderfield Drive ,Speke
* Woolton Road –boys club car park
* Calderstones Park - Yew Tree car park
* Calderstones Park – Calderstones Road car park
* Long Lane Recreation Ground - Garston
* Otterspool Promenade – car park
* Sefton Park – Ullet Gate
* Sefton park - Livingston Drive off Aigburth Drive
* Wavertree Park - tennis centre car park
* Newsham Park – Gardeners Drive (Shiel Road end)
* Everton Park – viewing platform, Netherfield Road North
* Stanley Park – car park
* Croxteth Park – Oak Lane car park
* Kings Drive,Liverpool 25
* Green Lane triangle at Menlove Avenue
