Liverpool parents go to un-Belieber-ble lengths for Justin Bieber concert tickets

These potty parents have gone to UN-BELIEBER-BLE lengths to make sure their teen daughters didn't miss their pop idol in concert.

Alan and Wendy Roper, both 41, repainted their Liverpool home in Justin Bieber's favourite colour purple to secure concert tickets for the teen sensation's gig on Friday.

The couple, from Forest Drive in Huyton, were dismayed when tickets for the Canadian pop star's Liverpool gig sold out, leaving daughters Megan, 15, and 12-year-old Chloe heartbroken.

But when a local radio station offered one lucky winner the chance to bag the last two tickets to Justin's Liverpool concert, the family would not be beaten.

Dad Alan said: "The girls love Justin Bieber and they were gutted when we couldn't get tickets to see him.

"I was driving Megan to school when we heard the competition on the radio and she said we should try and win it.

"She suggested painting the house Justin's favourite colour and I agreed - I didn't think it would happen though!"

Breakfast show hosts Adam Weighell and Leanne Campbell, at 107.6 Juice FM, asked listeners to 'Do it for the kids' by hunting the most dedicated parents of Beliebers.

Amongst offers that included tattooing the 16-year-old's face on a dad's bum, the Ropers went one step further vowed to paint their home purple and display the Juice FM logo.

DJ Adam said: "It never ceases to amaze us just how far parents will go to have a night in on their own!.

"We had parents offering to suck my toes and even wear an 'I Hate Justin Bieber' t-shirt at the concert.

"But the Roper family won by a country mile."

Thanks to their mum and dad's redecorating, Megan and Chloe were part of the 10,500 fans at the Liverpool Echo Arena for Justin's sell-out Never Say Never tour date.

Alan added: "The neighbours have been laughing their heads off and everyone who walks past stops to stare.

"One guy thought it was just an undercoat - he couldn't believe it when I said it was stuck that colour!"

But ecstatic daughter Megan said: "I'm shocked mum and dad did this for us but I can't thank them enough.

"Me and Chloe love Justin Bieber so seeing him in concert is a dream come true."

The teen singing sensation's arrival in Liverpool on Thursday caused a city centre traffic meltdown as 500 screaming fans besieged the #750-a-night Hard Days Night Hotel.

Dozens of uniformed police were drafted in to calm the hysteria as one teen fan was arrested while ambulance crews tended to others who had fainted.
