Liverpool ace Joe Cole's 50-day driving ban has been delayed after his solicitor launched an appeal.
The 28-year-old was clocked by police speeding at 105mph in his Audi A4 on a Surrey dual carriageway on November 19.
He was sentenced at Staines Magistrates' Court on Friday and disqualified for 50 days.
But chairman of the bench John Neary agreed to suspend the ban and £750 fine while Cole's solicitor Nick Freeman, who is known as Mr Loophole after representing a series of high-profile celebrities, launches an appeal.
Reds' star Cole, who already had six points on his licence, was found guilty of speeding at 105mph on August 18.
The England international must pay £600 costs in addition to the fine.
