A Liverpool girl was rushed to hospital after impaling her foot on a spike.
The 12-year-old was climbing over some railings near Bidston Hill Windmill, Birkenhead, when she slipped just after 7pm on Wednesday.
It took fire-fighters 45 minutes to cut through the railings but the girl still had the spike stuck in her foot when she was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
