A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Walton.
Police were called to a property on Eton Street at 8.30am on Wednesday discovered a 26-year-old man who had suffered a stab wound to his neck.
He was taken to hospital where he is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Officers detained a 28-year-old woman at the scene on suspicion of a Section 18 assault with intent to cause either serious injury or wounding.
She was also arrested for obstructing a police officer and has been taken to a local police statiion for questioning by detectives.
