Woman found dead at Dixie Dean Hotel

A woman has been found dead in a Liverpool city centre hotel.

Emergency services were called to the Dixie Dean Hotel on Victoria Street following reports for the safety of a woman on Sunday evening.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the person had died at the premises.

Merseyside Police are not treating the woman’s death as suspicious and have informed her next of kin and a coroner’s office report is being prepared.

“Police were called to reports of a concern for safety of a woman in a Liverpool city centre hotel yesterday evening,” said a spokesperson.

“Emergency services were called to the Dixie Dean Hotel on Victoria Street and sadly found a woman was deceased.

“Her death is being treated as non-suspicious. Her next of kin have been informed and a report is being prepared for the Coroner’s Office.”
