
Whip out your spandex and leg warmers - rollerskating is being given a 21st century make-over with the opening of a new rink in Liverpool.
Roller City Liverpool promises to cater for families and party people alike when it launches later this month.
Located at 1 Mount Pleasant, the former home of club 051, the city's first dedicated roller disco is the perfect destination for anyone who wants to have fun and even get fit.
Roller City Liverpool's Jade Omar said: "This is a new and exciting experience for Liverpool, that all can enjoy and it’s a great way of putting the enjoyment back into getting the family fit."
The roller rink opens to the public on Saturday 27th February at 12noon with free skating sessions available to anyone wanting to try it for themselves.
Roller skaters of all ages can use the ink from 9am until 9pm everyday, with full catering facilitiesand numerous other attractions on site for all the family everyone is catered for.
Over 18s can continue to use the rink until late, and with fully licensed bar and the best classic disco hits, cool funky house music and rare soul grooves, it is an ideal spot for an alternative night out.
The opening of Roller City Liverpool has also created 50 new jobs for local people and hopes to attract more visitors to the city and help to boost the local economy.
