Tiny creatures are set to become a massive attraction at Liverpool's Albert Dock, as The BugWorld Experience opens its doors for the first time.
The first of its kind in the UK, BugWorld shows visitors the world through a bug's eyes, from the Amazon rainforest, to the African savannah, all the way home to a British living room.
Visitors can then test their bravery with the chance to handle some of the centres' weird and wonderful creatures, including the Death Stalker Scorpion, Red Knee Tarantula, and the Red Spotted Assassin Bug!
Guests who like a day out with a real sting in the tale can head back to base camp, where insect delicacies from around the world are on the menu.
Centre manager Jenny Dobson said; "There’s a real buzz around the place, and that’s not just the Panamanian paper wasps!
"This is a must for all budding scientists, adventurers and travellers. There's nowhere else in Britain to get this close and personal with insects and bugs like this."
As well as a great family day out, experts at BugWorld Experience are working hard to protect some of the world's most endangered species, with carefully planned breeding programs and extensive research.
The BugWorld Experience is open now at Liverpool's Albert Dock.
