Liverpool Community Network events - have your say

Liverpool Community Network (LCN) has announced the dates for its next round of ward-based community engagement events.

They will begin on Monday 29 June and enable local residents to meet with key decision-makers, including representatives from Liverpool City Council and Merseyside Police, to discuss what can be done to improve their neighbourhood.

The summer events will be a mix of themed and traditional public meetings, where people can engage with local agencies and Ward Councillors in a relaxed atmosphere.

People will also be updated about what is happening throughout the city as a result of the project and hear about a number of success stories.

Karen Harris, Neighbourhood Partnership Officer at LCN, said: “It is important for people to get involved with these events to help shape the future of Liverpool’s neighbourhoods.

“A number of the events will be held at local supermarkets and shopping centres in order to catch peoples’ views whilst they are out and about. Don’t miss your chance to have a say.”

The first events take place in:

Mossley Hill – Monday 29 June, between 6 and 7.30pm - at SARA Hall, Rundle Road, Aigburth, L17 0AQ.

St Michaels – Wednesday 1 July, between 5.30 and 7pm – The Old Police Station, 80 Lark Lane, Liverpool, L17 8UU.

Speke/Garston ‘Speke Up’ – Wednesday 1 July, between 3 and 4.30pm – Stockton Wood Primary School, Stockton Wood Road, Liverpool, L24 3TU.

LCN is part of Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS) and aims to foster a community spirit that will help to improve the lives of residents across the city.
