Get ready for an unforgettable evening at the Albert Dock and Merseyside Maritime Museum
On Thursday 13th September, Jameson Cult Film Club will be swimming up to Liverpool, for an incredible experiential screening of Steven Spielberg’s iconic summer classic, Jaws.
Jameson will be hosting a 70s-inspired beach party on ‘Amity Island’ (aka Liverpool’s Albert Dock) for everyone to enjoy. After wandering along the dock, guests will see the beach party in full swing and fishermen out in boats patrolling the docks. After being welcomed to Amity by the Mayor, guests will be able to join the other revellers, grab a burger from the BBQ and pick up one of the delicious Jameson cocktails being served, but it’s not long before rumours start to circulate in the crowd with several people saying they’ve just seen a Great White.
When beachgoers need a refill they can head up to the beach bar in the Merseyside Maritime Museum, where they will no doubt bump into Quint who will revel in telling everyone grandiose tales of the sea, before kicking off a round of “Show Me the Way to Go Home”.
For the screening itself, guests will be ushered into the historic Merseyside Maritime Museum, a stunning and poignant setting for the film. Jameson will be screening the film from the digitally re-mastered and fully restored Blu-ray, enabling the Cult Film Club audience to experience the film on the big screen in a quality never seen before, with fully restored picture and sound.

The Terminator >> 4 October 2012 at Victoria Warehouse,Manchester
