Visit any major city in the UK, and you will find that there is a wealth of cosmetic clinics from which to choose. The cosmetics industry has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years, thanks to technological advancements bringing about a continuing flux of affordable skin care treatments including dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and laser hair removal.
Like with all cosmetic treatments, the cost of laser hair treatments varies, and is greatly dependent on where you are in the country. You can expect to pay a premium for receiving treatment in London's Harley Street, whose name is synonymous with high standards in cosmetic industry. Compare this to the cost of laser hair removal in Liverpool, for instance, or Cardiff, and the difference in cost can be significant.
This is ludicrous, and wholly unjustifiable. Laser hair removal in Liverpool, or Cardiff, our anywhere else outside of the capital, is a procedure carried out by people with the same experience, and qualifications, as those administering the same procedure in Harley Street. The same precautions are taken in terms of ensuring that each procedure takes place in a clinical environment, and likewise, all necessary sterility measures are observed.
Any clinic of repute, anywhere in the UK, will be using state-of-the-art equipment to carry out laser hair treatments, and so there is no valid argument that a difference in technology justifies a significant difference in cost. With there being nothing to differentiate between, then, why choose London, just for the sake of paying more?
If you are considering undergoing skin care treatments then it makes sense to do your research before making a beeline straight for the capital. You are likely to find that other areas of the UK charge far more realistic prices for the same service. Of course if you are living in the London area, then the cost of travelling elsewhere could well outweigh the overall savings. If you are situated in certain parts of Wales, though, the Midlands, or Northern England, then you are likely to find that there are big cosmetics procedures savings to be made, outside of London.
