Turtle swimming sessions are proving popular at Selwyn Jones Leisure Centre in Newton le Willows.
The sessions, run by St.Helens Council, help youngsters to learn to swim with a parent or guardian.
The Turtles are semi-structured lessons for youngsters from 8+ weeks. The lessons require a term commitment and are each 30 minutes in length.
Selwyn Jones Sports Centre runs three sessions a week during term time.
