Fun doesn’t need to break the bank this half term with dozens of things to see and do at museums around Liverpool.

National Museums Liverpool has arranged an action-packed week of exhibitions and events from Monday 13th to Friday 17th February 2012, perfect for family days out and keeping the kids happy during the school break.

Highlights of the activites include The International Slavery Museum showing Disney's The Frog Princess free of charge on the 16th February.

Those looking for an encouter with beasts of a prehistoric kind can head down to the World Museum for the Age of the Dinosaur exhibition, open daily.

The Merseyside Maritime Museum is offering a range of craft activies inspired by the most famous ship of all time, the Titanic, on the14th and 15th February, whilst across the Mersey, the Lady Lever Art Gallery is continuing the Chinese New Year celebrations with a free performance of the Pagoda Chinese Youth Orchestra on 15th February.
