Children under 12 are invited to dress up as little Cinderella’s and Prince Charming’s outside the Playhouse to celebrate the rock ‘n’ roll panto coming to Williamson Square.
The youngsters will be able to meet Cinderella at 2pm on Thursday 11 August to sing and dance along with songs synonymous with the much-loved plays, before a series of events inside the theatre.
There are even tickets to the famous rock ‘n’ roll panto to be won, with a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) available for each of the best dressed Cinderella and Prince Charming on the day.
After the fun has finished in the square, children will be able to take part in a ‘Goodies and Baddies’ workshop, listen to storytelling led by Cathy Roberts or take part in a Glass Shoe hunt.
All the events are free, but places must be booked via the Playhouse box office.
Everyone who comes to the event in fancy dress will also be given money-off vouchers for the Helter Skelter in Church Street and trampolines in Clayton Square, valid for Thursday 11 August courtesy of City Central BID.
