Managers from Liverpool's best known French restaurant family were transformed in to high-kicking can-can girls for Bastille Day celebrations.

Kasia Psuik, general manager of Bistro Pierre in the Cavern Quarter, and Lizzie Rochford, general manager of Bistro Jacques in Hardman St, joined customers to celebrate the France’s most famous national holiday.

While Kasia and Lizzie entertained diners, chefs at Bistro Jacques, Bistro Pierre and Bistro Franc showcased the best in French cuisine with a special menu packed with delicacies such as Frog’s Legs and Snails.

Kasia said: “As Liverpool’s most well-known group of French restaurants we couldn’t let Bastille Day pass without a party and it has been great to bring a little bit of France to the city.

“Our intrepid customers have been extremely brave and ordered French specialities such as Frog’s Legs and Snails from our special Bastille Day menu, while Lizzie and I have been brave in putting these outfits on!

“We have a reputation for making good times taste great at all our restaurants and today was all about having fun, entertaining customers and sharing with them the best in French food and wine.”
