As part of Screen on the Green, Liverpool ONE will be showing the ladies’ and men’s singles finals this weekend on a giant screen in Chavasse Park.
Visitors to Liverpool ONE are invited to enjoy the exciting climax of the world famous tennis tournament for free over the weekend and, in the tradition of Wimbledon, enjoy strawberries dipped in chocolate and ice-cream from Thornton’s ice cream cart.
Donna Howitt, Marketing Director at Liverpool ONE says: “This weekend is one of the most exciting in the tennis calendar and we’re delighted to be able to screen the matches for shoppers so they don’t miss out on these thrilling sporting events.
"We hope people will pack a picnic and come along, relax in a deckchair and cheer for their favourite player!”
Bulmers will also be sampling cider to over 18s to celebrate the launch of Bulmers N°17. During the weekend their Experimenter’s Stage will be at Chavasse Park – and they have invited the hottest new bands, liveliest dance groups and most unpredictable acts to keep shoppers entertained.
