
Award winning comedian Tony Vino is to perform at Christ Church Walton Breck, Anfield, on Saturday 28th May at 7.30pm.
Tony Vino has been touring the comedy scene since early 2005. A finalist in 2006 Funny Bones competition, Tony has enjoyed recognition as a comedian known for the way he mixes well thought out observational humour with audience interaction and quick witted responses.
Well aware of social and political issues, Tony has entertained at many high profile events for charities such as Christian Aid, Oxfam, Coop, Fairtrade Foundation and TearFund. He was the warm up comedian for Songs of Praise and is a regular comedy pundit on BBC Radio Manchester.
The BBC1 Heaven and Earth show has referred to his show as “Comedy that’s life affirming.”
Tony heads up the comedy at Christian festival Greenbelt and is the resident compere of Just Fair Laughs, a Fair Trade comedy agency which runs several weekly and monthly comedy nights in pubs, theatres and art centres across the UK.
His faith informs all of his on stage style and content as Tony believes passionately in comedy which is uplifting and life affirming.
