Knowsley Safari Park is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and has officially unveiled its latest pair of little big cats.

The recent warm spring weather has been an ideal opportunity for the park to introduce cubs Sam and Sean to the visitors and for parents Jasmine and Kenya to take obvious pride in their new arrivals.

David Ross, General Manager, said: “Ever since we opened in 1971, the opportunity to get up close and personal with this iconic species from the safety of your car has been the essence of the Safari Park experience.

“With Sam and Sean now on public view, and three more young cubs ready to join the pride in the near future, I am sure that our Lions will prove to be one of the major highlights of our 40th anniversary year.”
