It’s been a few years since the nation has had a chance to get together in celebration of a Royal Wedding. So this year, on Friday 29 April ‘Clatterbridge your cancer centre’ are asking everyone to join in on Prince William and Kate Middleton’s big day by holding a ‘Right Royal Coffee Morning’ in aid of the local charity.
Suzanne Battersby, Community Fundraising Manager said “Joining in with our ‘Right Royal Coffee Morning’ is a simple and fun way to raise a toast to the happy couple whilst raising money for a fantastic local charity. It couldn’t be simpler to get involved – just join together with your friends, family and neighbours on the morning of Friday 29 April for a cuppa and a cake whilst watching the wedding live on television and ask those taking part for a small donation.”
As the only charity to directly benefit the patients of Clatterbridge across the region ‘Clatterbridge your cancer centre’ relies on money raised through events such as our ‘Right Royal Coffee Morning’ to help improve our care, treatment, support and facilities as well as funding vital research.
All participants will receive a ‘Right Royal Coffee Morning’ pack which includes a Royal romance inspired quiz, a delicious scone recipe and patriotic Clatterbridge bunting to really get your celebration started.
