The Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships is back and bigger than ever in 2011. Set to take the beatboxing scene by storm for another year, performers throughout the UK will be in with a chance of taking home the UK title and a brand new Vauxhall Corsa SXi.

Since 2007, Vauxhall’s sponsorship of the UK Beatbox Championships has shone a spotlight on the best of UK beatbox talent and for its fifth year running, the regional heats will be fiercely battled from February to May in London, Bristol, Liverpool and Nottingham. Heat winners, decided by the crowd and judges, will then cruise down to London for the grand final.
Unleashing their vocal artistry at the renowned O2 Islington Academy, each finalist must use their full array of tricks and rhythmical prowess to impress the roaring crowd and judges. Loud-mouth legend, Stig of the Dump will be conducting proceedings and for 2011, the crowd will also be treated to performances from some surprise star guests and judges.
If you think you have what it takes to become UK champion and drive away with a slick Corsa SXi in a colour of your choice, complete with blacked-out windows, sports-style interior and impressive 16’’ alloys, it’s time to step up to the mic at the Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships 2011 and accelerate into beatbox stardom.
