The Chief Executive of Liverpool's City Central Bid, Ged Gibbons aka ‘Ged Gib-beans’ is braving it in a bath filled with cold baked beans on Friday 18th March in Williamson Square from 12pm to 3pm in a bid to raise money for Comic Relief.

Signature Café, Rapid and City Central BID have joined forces for the fundraising event where a bath supplied by Liverpool home and garden store- Rapid will be filled with the beans, courtesy of Signature Café.

People can pay £1 to guess how many beans there are for a chance to win free food for a week at Signature Café as well as Flymo Lawnmower from Rapid.

Michelle Guy the owner of Signature Café said: “What better way to make Comic Relief comical!

"We all think Ged has been a really good sport to volunteer for this and are grateful to Rapid for all their support.

"All we need now is everyone to turn up this Friday from 12-3pm and dig deep to help us raise as much money as possible for Comic Relief."
