Liverpool ONE to sponsor Alder Hey's "The Clothes Throw" event

Liverpool ONE is to sponsor The Clothes Throw fashion event, an annual fundraiser organised by the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal.

The Clothes Throw centres around a clothes auction where celebs, stores and fashion houses donate stylish outfits for people to bid for. Last year The Clothes Throw had fashion donations from high profile stars such as Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker.

This year, the Clothes Throw is also encouraging people to hold their own Clothes Throw parties at home, where they can update their look economically and environmentally by unloading their past season wardrobes.

They will raise money for charity at the same time by asking for a donation for their previously worn, but no longer wanted clothes and accessories. Liverpool ONE and Alder Hey Imagine Appeal are already creating bespoke Clothes Throw party packs, which include everything the savvy fashionista needs to know about creating the perfect Clothes Throw party.

Liverpool ONE will become a hub for people to sign up for the parties, collect party packs and make clothes donations. The flagship auction event will also be hosted at Liverpool ONE in October.
