Review: Entertain the kids this half term at Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf Liverpool ONE

As a full time working mum, I know how difficult it can be to organise child care during the school holidays.

Not only is there child care to organise but also activities to keep the little gems amused.

I took two days holiday during the half term to take the kids on a few days out, we decided to try golfing to keep them active (yes, and tire them out!)

Click Liverpool had the opportunity to visit one of Liverpool's top new attractions this half term - Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf.

Situated in Liverpool One, this new venue is definitely worth a visit.

As well as accommodating two 18 hole golf courses, Jungle Rumble has Tikki Huts, Temple Ruins scenery situated all around the course, not forgetting Scary Jungle noises and Live Active Volcano sounds as you putt your way around.

The staff were really pleasant, polite and willing to help with any questions and advice we asked for as it was our first time.

Whether rain or shine, this venue is great fun for all ages, and yes I found myself getting very competitive as my 12 year old son and my 7 year old niece seemed to be far better than me.

After completing the first 18 holes, we decided to stay and enjoy some lunch in the cafe bar which was really relaxing. The menu was fairly appetising and although a bit more expensive than the nearby fast food outlets, Jungle Rumble Cafe was real food which came with real chunky chips. The kids' chicken nuggets meal got our vote.

Fed and watered, my two little balls of energy were ready to hit the second course. Determined not to be beaten this time round, I was quite impressed with myself when I got a hole in one off the first tee.

That's where my luck ended.

Don't be fooled when you see some of the holes, they may look easy to pot but believe me, they are not as easy as they look, and I gradually got more frustrated than the kids when I couldn't pot my ball.

This all weather indoor activity is certainly one for all ages, while we were there we saw all different kinds of groups, mums with kids, families competing against each other, young groups of boys (whose parents were having a coffee in the cafe while the kids played), dads who were showing their skills and teaching their little ones the tricks of the trade, there was even three young ladies (one who was heavily pregnant) enjoying a laugh and giggle as they worked their way around the course.

With the Easter holidays on their way and the kids being off school for what seems like the whole of April, this place really does pass a good few hours and I will certainly be putting this on our list of days out.

Jungle Rumble is open 7 days a week 10am - 11pm.

Prices start from £3.50 per course for under 5's, 5-16 years £5.00. Adults 37.00, Students and concessions £6.00. A family of 4 is £20.00 and a group of 4 people is £25.00.

Jungle Rumble have a special offer on during the week Monday to Friday:

I have been to this place, it is great for kids and families! They also have a very poor simulator in there which is the worst i've seen :-(
