A Chester Zoo worker will be on safari throughout the North West in a brand new car, thanks to Halliwell Jones Chester.
Becca Biddle, who talks to kids about the effects of climate change and the importance of conservation, has been leased a BMW X1 to help her do her job.
The donated vehicle has been decorated with pictures of animals to help inspire children as she tour’s the region’s schools.
She said: “All the children and teachers have been very impressed with the Safari Ranger car.
“They have been peering out of the classroom windows when I turn up at schools and some classes are even determined to go outside into the car park to have a closer look!
“The boot space also allows me to fill the car with lots of exciting biofacts to show children, to take the zoo to them when it is not possible for them to visit us.”
Becca taught over 10,000 children across 75 schools last year, but has already managed to visit 25 schools since the arrival of her new motor.
