Parkinson’s UK – the support and research charity - is passionate about finding a cure and improving life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
That’s why the North West region of the charity is inviting people across Merseyside to join them for a night of laughter and fundraising at the Liverpool Comedy Night on 3rd February 2011.
This fantastic event will take place at The Green Room, Liverpool. Tickets are £8 per person. All proceeds will help fund Parkinson’s UK’s vital work across the North West.
Joanne Dobbie, Regional Fundraiser, North West at Parkinson’s UK, said: “I’m really excited about our event. We hope as many people across Merseyside join us at the Liverpool Comedy Night and make it an event to remember.
“Our work is totally dependent on donations, and it is the generosity of the people of Merseyside that means we can continue our work to find a cure and improve the quality of life for people affected by Parkinson’s.”
Paul Betney, compere for the night says: “We’re very lucky because we’ve got an excellent line up of comics who are all generously donating their talents to support the charity. It’s going to be a fantastic night of comedy.
"I’ve lived with Parkinson’s for twenty years and I’ve learned that laughter really is wonderful medicine, but even if you have no connection to Parkinson’s at all this still promises to be a great night out!”
