The 2011 Southport Palette Club Exhibition returns to Bootle Town Hall this month, in the beautiful surroundings of the Ballroom.

The exhibition, now in it’s 86th year will be on display from Friday 21 January to Thursday 10 February 2011 from 10am - 5pm, Monday to Friday and admission is FREE.

Nicola Jones, Museums and Galleries Officer said: “Working alongside the Southport Palette Club to help deliver their annual exhibition is one of the highlights of the Museum and Gallery teams year.

"Our partnership with the group goes back many years (1923) and we hope that we can help continue to support the work of the Palette Club in encouraging the young talent, whether amateur or professional, to promote their work and their talent across Sefton.”

This year, for the first time, the Southport Palette Club are introducing a junior section to the exhibition. Come along and see work from the talented youth in Sefton and may be you could purchase a piece of art from a future Di Vinci of our time!

Access to the Southport Palette Club could not be easier; Bootle Town Hall is only a minute's walk from Bootle Oriel Road station on the Southport to Liverpool line.
