Enjoy the spectacular reconstruction of the Pharaoh’s tomb and treasures with your family from Sunday 5th December at The Trafford Centre.

Bring your little explorers along for a day with the Pharaoh, jam-packed with exciting free activities all included in the ticket price.

Sure to keep the whole family, including adults entertained, the Family Fun Days will provide educational, fun and stimulating things to do, such as face painting, walking acts, workshops and much more...

Take the trail through time and try your hand at unravelling an ancient mystery, follow the symbols, track down the treasures, and crack the codes to discover the Pharaoh’s secret, as the tomb comes alive once more.

Budding Egyptologists will also learn how to create their own amulet to protect from the Pharaoh’s Curse, meet real explorers and get the chance to make their mark on our Pyramid of Wishes at the trail's end. Each child will leave with a free gift as a memento of their visit to see the Pharaoh.

Ideal for children aged 3 – 11 years old; the Family Fun Days have been put together by local story teller and drama teacher Cathy Roberts, who is also responsible for the successful annual Pirate Muster at the Liverpool’s Albert Dock.

Cathy Roberts said "I'm delighted to be involved with this spectacular exhibition. The story of Tutankhamun is timeless, and with treasure, spells, and even a curse written in the language of legends, it's sure to make memories that last a lifetime."

‘Tutankhamun – His Tomb and His Treasures’ is based at the Museum of Museums at the Trafford Centre Manchester.

This awe-inspiring exhibition carries visitors on a captivating journey through time into the lost wonders of ancient Egypt and reveals the epic story of the discovery of the forgotten tomb of the ‘Boy King’, giving visitors the opportunity to look through Howard Carter’s eyes and experience the amazing moment of discovery for themselves. Over 4,000 square metres of exhibition space, replicas of 1,000 burial artefacts and state-of-the-art multimedia technology brings to life the story of Tutankhamun and the fascinating cultural and spiritual world of ancient Egypt.

Can you piece the puzzle together and solve the mystery? Come along to a Family Fun Day at Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures to find out!

Children under 5 visit free! Places are limited. To make a booking and for a full list of the current Family Fun Days visit the Tutankhamun website - www.tutankhamunmanchester.com.
