Disabled and disadvantaged kids will get the chance to spend the day at Liverpool region theme park thanks to charity.

More than 1200 North West children will descend upon Gulliver's World in Warrington courtesy of children's charity Variety Club and the De Vere/MWB Group on 2nd December.

With free entrance to the park and free rides the kids will be given the chance to visit Santa Claus in his groto.

There will be a post box for the children to post their letters to Santa.

De Vere/MWB Group which is home to some of Britain's best known brands has raised almost £1million for Variety Club since April 2009.

From the board room to front line staff, from customers to suppliers everyone has been involved in a range of fundraising activities to help improve the lives of disadvantaged and disabled children across the UK.

And Lyn Staunton, development director North West, praised the company for their generosity.

She said: "The De Vere/MWB Group has been a valued supporter of Variety Club and we have been overwhelmed by the support of the employees throughout the UK and how much time and effort they have spent, raising money for children and young people that Variety supports.

"We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support of the De Vere/MWB Group and all the employees who have helped support the children who really need their help.

"Variety Club relies heavily on the sponsorship from corporate sponsors and anticipates this to be a wonderful, exciting and memorable day for the children attending."

Experiences like Gulliver’s World is made possible thanks to the charity’s Variety at Work team which each year, enables tens of thousands of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and young people to have some wonderful entertaining and educational experiences.
