Enjoy a wild day out and visit Santa this Christmas at Chester Zoo!
As well as seeing over 7,000 different animals, you can visit Santa in his festive grotto packed with animated polar bears, reindeer and elves wrapping presents in time for Christmas.
Meet Father Christmas and receive a free gift in the fabulous 100 foot long grotto.
To create a magical Christmas experience for the city, Chester Zoo will now be joining up with Chester City Management and Chester Renaissance.
As a result Chester Zoo’s Christmas activities will change. Santa’s Grotto will remain, however the Zoo will not be hosting an ice rink, rides or market stalls this year.
Activity planned for the city centre includes a magnificent ice rink, a big wheel, Christmas markets and attractions to offer a special experience for you, your family and friends.

If you can't make this opening weekend you can visit the grotto between 11th-24th December - but book early to avoid disappointment.
