Visitors to the North West's Chester Zoo have been treated to a peek at two new arrivals.
A pair of Dwarf Mongoose Pups, no bigger than a chocolate bar, have been spotted enjoying the September sunshine in Chester Zoo.
Zoo keepers heard the youngsters' squeaks three weeks ago but the pups kept a low profile until they ventured outside in the Mongoose Mania enclosure.
This species normally live to about 10-years-old and can grow up to 12 inches long. The creatures live on a diet of mice, locusts and meal worms.
Dwarf Mongoose Pups are the smallest of all African carnivores and normally deliver one to six pups.
The twins parents were moved to the Mongoose Mania enclosure in March this year, after arriving at the zoo in 2009.
