Can Cook Studio, a 20-place professional cookery studio based in Merseyside, will be popping up with two cookery demonstration Domes at the Wirral Food and Drink Festival this August bank holiday weekend.

The renowned Festival will feature over 100 producers and stalls this year, live music and entertainment, the Brimstage Beer and Cider Tent as well as family favourites such as the Children’s ‘Big Top’ Village show.

The Can Cook Domes will be at the Festival encouraging everyone to come inside and find out how to get into cooking, as well as learning hints and tips to become real successes in the kitchen. From 10am onwards, both Sunday and Monday, the Can Cook chefs will be situated in their 14m x 14m Dome, running free demonstrations and interactive sessions.

Robbie Davison, Director of Can Cook says: “Can Cook came about because so many people don’t feel confident in the kitchen when it comes to making delicious dishes for themselves, their friends and family. Being a part of such an important festival is our way of getting out to the masses and spread our cookery message in a fun way.

We run evening and weekend classes for beginners and those who already have some skills. Our expert chefs will be at the Wirral Food and Drink Festival to give you everything needed to create perfect, mouth-watering international cuisine dishes including those which are Chinese, Thai and Italian inspired”

The Can Cook Domes are the first of their kind in the UK and will be a brand new offering for the Wirral Food and Drink Festival Festival. With members of the public free to pop in and whip up a delicious Thai green curry or Nasi Goring with the guidance of Can Cook’s highly skilled team, everyone will be cooking at home with ease in no time!

The festival, now in its fifth year, has grown to be one of the most successful food events in the country. This year’s event, which is set to be bigger than ever, is looking to attract over 30,000 visitors, and takes place over Sunday 29th and Monday 30th of August.

Standard entry £3, Under 18s £1, Under 5s free.

Car parking is free.

Free shuttle buses will be running all day from Spital train station to the Festival, thanks to the support of Merseyrail.
