A flock of celebrity signed ceramics are being auctioned off for Liverpool Unites to mark the 100th anniversary of the Liverbirds next year.
The first to go to auction is a pink ceramic signed by Hollywood starlet Pamela Anderson. The former Baywatch star was in Liverpool last week to promote her role as the Genie of the Lamp in Aladdin which will show at the Liverpool Empire theatre this Christmas. Anderson follows in the footsteps of fellow American Henry ‘The Fonz’ Winker, who appeared as Hook in Peter Pan last year.
The Liverbird ceramics have been designed by local artist Mackenzie. He says: “I am thrilled that my designs are being used to help raise money for the Liverpool Unites charity which does some fantastic work in and around Merseyside. I hope members of the public bid generously.”
