Liverpool's Maghull Manor house opens its doors on Sunday 12th September from 10-4 for a launch day with a difference.

Not only does the Grade 2 building dating back hundreds of years let people view the beautiful interior conversion apartments and coach house for the first time but the venue signs off with a charity event for one last time in aid of Zoë’s Place.

The development has been converted into apartments, cottages and mews homes. After an extensive conversion there are 12 apartments, ranging from 1 and 2 beds starting from 175-250k- and penthouses from £275 for 2 beds to £325k for 3 beds right through to a cottage and 3 coach houses from 250-325k for 2-3 beds.

The Manor House Maghull is a Grade 2 located within 8 acres of parkland offering secure living in an exclusive location.

The Manor is approached by a long, private driveway with gated security and is flanked by mature woodland, which provides a stunning backdrop for this development.

Ian Hughes from Reeds Rains in Maghull said: "We are very pleased to announce the launch day of this fantastic conversion set in wonderful grounds. We feel this development will appeal to those who want to either downsize from larger properties in the area or those wanting to work in the city but live somewhere with a country feel but with not to far to commute to Liverpool, Southport or Manchester where they work."

To add a twist and some fun on the launch day the event on Sunday 12th September will be held in aid of Zoë’s Place Childrens Hospice in West Derby, Liverpool.

The Manor house was used for many, many years as a hospice and the developers wanted to sign off on this by helping a local good cause and there are not many more dear to the hearts of Liverpool people than Zoë’s Place.

On the day there will be plenty of fun for all the family with a Health and Beauty theme to the day with Juice FM’s very own Leanne Campbell comparing a range of events including “The Glamorous Gran contest, Mum & toddler (1yr - 4yrs) and Dad & Lad (5yrs+)”.

Prizes on the day include modelling contracts with Impact Models, photo sessions with Peter Simon photography, Asda clothing voucher plus LFC and EFC signed shirts and balls to be won. Judges include model Amanda Harrington and this years 2010 Miss Liverpool, Amy Jackson.

There is £5 charge per couple to enter the contests with all proceeds going to Zoe's Place children’s hospice.

Entrance fee to the event is £1 with all monies raised to be donated to Zoë’s Place.
