Oddfellows.... even more reason to dine-out in Chester

One hundred and fifty invited guests crowded into the boutique hotel and restaurant Oddfellows in Chester to welcome TV chef Richard Phillips as executive chef at the newly extended venue.

Oddfellows offers diners the fine dining restaurant, the Bistro and the new street level Pantry, as well a private dining rooms.

Champagne flowed throughout the evening as Chester’s elite sampled Richard’s canapés and able to explore the seventeenth century buildings which mixes classical and contemporary styles.

Richard Phillips mingled with the guests discussing the latest developments in English cuisine. He reassured regular Oddfellows’ diners that his new kitchen team will continue to offer the very highest standards of service.

The revolution in the kitchens continues with the appointment of head chef, Scott Mills, and as part of Richard Phillips’ new regimen they are being encouraged to become more adventurous in the menu choices under his watchful mentoring.

Oddfellows is extending its locally sourced food programme and Richard stated, “We will source the best local seasonal produce for Oddfellows. The restaurant’s reputation will be built on quality and I do not accept anything other than the best in my restaurants”.

The Pantry offers breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals and Odfellows re-opened to diners on Friday 2nd October.
