Blakes Restaurant located within the award winning Hard Days Night Hotel is celebrating all things organic as part of National Organic Harvest Month.

Over the next two weeks, chefs will be serving an array of delicious dishes, made using only organic produce, including Brown Trout with tomato and borlotti bean and braised fennel.

Dishes can also be accompanied by organic beverages such as bottled beer in the form of Freedom lager and specialised wines, Cono Sur Sauvignon Blanc and Cono Sur Pinot Noir.

Senior Executive Head Chef Paul Feery said: “We always pride ourselves on using fresh and locally sourced and organic produce so it felt only fitting to introduce new dishes for National Organic Harvest Month.

“As well as enjoying great food, it is also about raising awareness and to encourage diners to discover their own favourite organic products. There are so many to choose from now and by opting for organic, it means that we are creating an overall healthier planet.”

Blakes Restaurant occupies a light, airy and stylish space within the Hard Days Night Hotel.

Named after the celebrated pop artist Sir Peter Blake who created the iconic artwork for the Sgt Peppers album cover, the restaurant boasts wall- to- wall original Beatles artwork including a centrepiece display of 60 images of icons from the album's sleeve.

Prices start from £16.95 for main courses with wine priced at £27.00 per bottle. Beer is priced at £3.85.
